The danger of gas build up in the vehicle used to transport gas bottles means that adequate ventilation should be installed. Sortimo Ventilation systems have been thoroughly tested, even in wind tunnel conditions, to ensure that adequate ventilation performance is assured.
Down Ventilation
This is achieved by setting the Roof Vent where fresh air is drawn into the vehicle and the gases are exhausted through the Floor and Side vents.
This method should be employed for heavy gases such as: Argon, Propane, CO2, Krypton, Xenon and Nitrogen Dioxide.
Up Ventilation
By locating the Roof Vent as seen in the above image, fresh air is drawn into the lower parts of the load area via the Floor and Side vents and is then exhausted through the Roof vent.
This method should be employed for light gases such as: Acetylene, Helium, Hydrogen and Nitrogen.
