Mobile Cosmetic Repairs are a North East based company who specialize in repairing Bumper scuffs, Panel scratches and Alloy wheel refurbishment. We were given the opportunity of fitting out their vans with all the equipment they need to carry out this work.
We set to work on vans after planning out the layout using Sortimo Racking Systems. We installed racking for tools and smaller equipment along with storage space in the front area. Within the same area we positioned the washing basin and eye-wash station.
In the rear area of the van we installed the Alloy Wheel refurbishment unit. This was connected using a 240 Volt power supply. The unit was positioned and fixed into place. It is quite a large piece of machinery therefore it was necessary that we made the most of the available space. More Sortimo Racking was fitted into the rear of the van to store tools and equipment.
On the outside of the vans we installed an external 240 Volt power supply. This is used mobile equipment which must be taken out of the van to be used. You can see photos of the external power supply, and of the front and rear areas below. Just click on an image to see an enlarged version:
